I know my 83's sender is nothing like what the 93 had. 93 screws on and my 83 has a large C-clip if I remember right.

My FiL gave me an RC tank, he said it was an older one, (early 80's?) it had a molded filler neck and I think the sender had a clamp to hold it on. The one I traded for had a hole for a filler like our trucks and the sender had the screw on ring. That was supposed to be from an '89 or close. It had a pump in the module, still does, works great to push fuel to the front tank. I think a diesel module would fit right in it, IIRC the tank depth was the same too.

So the truck has been doing good on fuel at 22mpg last tank so I added air dam and threw cap back on tonight to try and help. I really want to see 25mpg out of it before the 47RH. Papa is ready to play.

Andy's gonna have smoothy hubcaps, baby mirrors, and a big, fiberglass whale tail sculpted off the back of his topper pretty soon.

I'm digging it, mang, but why the giant back tires? I saw you telling Alex you couldn't get the rear down any farther, would smaller tires do it easier than a narrowed rear?

The plan was to eventually run 31x16.50x15's on the rear so I went with a 31x10.50x15 for now. With 3.25 gears and 31" tires the speedo is dead on right now. Im pretty sure the tires will rub the fender wells if it goes any lower. Just the little width difference in rears messed with tucking the tires on these wheels. If it was a factory backspaced wheel maybe. Themsin reason for the tall back tires is because it screams running 70-80mph blowing threw the rubber band stock converter.

Did you make that air dam or is it off of something else?

Its different then those Ike. I'm guessing its off a 80's conversion van. That's the same setup on my work truck you pictured.

Lol those wrap around and this one is flat all the way across. I came out of the grocery store and hear a couple guys talking along side of the truck. Its funny seeing people arguing about whether its diesel or not. The one poor guy just wouldn't believe me until I opened the hood.

That's funny! Why did they think it was diesel, badges, or the size of the exhaust pipe? I'm curious what tipped them off?

The one guy has seen me around he said and knew it had to be a Cummins. Unless they lay on the ground you see no exhaust and it has no badges.

Gotcha! From what I had seen in your pics, I thought it was debadged but wasn't sure on the exhaust.
