I had the fuel screw bottomed out, but backed it off about 2 turns last summer because I could hit 1300* real easy just stepping on it and I was trying to prolong the life of the pump. I could still hit 1300 pretty easy before the twins when it got over 3k rpms.
As for timing, I'm not sure where it's at right now. I had it at 2.25mm of lift, and then backed it down. It may be at 1.65 which is 1/8th of an inch, I'll have to look and see. I was thinking of bumping it back up to 1.85, the guy in the fuel shop said that seems to be the sweet spot for a VE in his experience.
