Thrust Washer Laying in the pan.. online service manual???

Postby kylehawk10 » Tue Jun 04, 2013 7:32 pm

I pulled a non IC 90' model today, fairly high mileage motor... Im guessing 500K. Dropped the pan and turned it over. A thrust washer was laying in it. I am going to pull the crank tomorrow and have it and the block inspected. Long story short, I am going to end up doing a complete over haul. Does anyone know of an online service manual, or at least an inexpensive way to acquire one?
Thanks

Besides buying the $110 or so paper book, you can get the CD with the diesel supplement for $35. That's what I did, printed off what I needed...

Thanks for the reply, I was able to find a paper diesel supplement for $30 on Ebay. Now for the bearings.. who has the best deal on mains, rods, and hopefully a one piece thrust?

The supplement is ok, but the regular manual is ten times as thick and has everything in it...

I use the hell out of Quick Serve.
I already have 5 ESNs on there for various engines.

Mark.
