Not to snobbish, but why would you put a tdi in a neon?

Massively Over Powered And Respected. Do Or Die Good Engine. :bom: I bet a neon is a fair bit lighter than a volkswagon.

Stage III is officially in progress. No pics yet, but I got the motor/trans almost out. Another half hour and the van will be ready for the donor.

Pictures! Pictures! In the interest of not having to duplicate my efforts, follow this link https://www.facebook.com/EbyFarms to our facebook page for pictures.

We got both both engines/trans ready for removal. both should be out in less than an hour and a half. Yippee!

More pictures. (follow above link). The clutch in the Jetta was REALLY worn out. Friction material worn into rivets, broken pieces, cracks forming in pressure plate, etc. Its about a year over due on replacement. We got both powertrains out today. New clutch goes in tomorrow and we start making mounts.

Here's a pic of the clutch.

No we got this one http://www.dxdracingclutches.com/ecomme ... em_id=3461 (I think) from South Bend Clutch. Its good for about double the stock one and gets rid of the dual mass flywheel.

I'm curious how the clutch and shifter all work.
