So my truck is in desperate need of a lift pump. I have a few questions for you guys. Does anyone know if the supply fitting on a VP is the same as the VE? I have this fitting out of an old VP.

Second does anyone know what fitting I would need to screw into this to run my FP isolator? I believe this is just a grease gun hose.


I'm going to run a sump and probably a Raptor 150 unless this pump still works by some chance.

All of our grease gun hose has all been 1/8" NPT,

Andy, that doesn't look like a grease gun hose to me. It has 1/4 pipe thread on the isolator end. The swivel end looks almost like it has a tapered seat, it's hard to tell for sure from that angle. If so, it's probably 37* flare, or JIC in the business. ( like the blue one in the other pic) You should be able to get an adapter from any auto parts for it, it looks like a size 4 (an).

I'll take it to the hydraulic hose shop I guess to see if we can find a fitting. Those guys are usually about as useful as tits on a boar hog though.

I figure it's pipe since its got Teflon tape hanging on it but if it's not there's also a chance it's SAE 45* flare. A lot of copper stuff we deal with seems to be 45*, the newer steel and aluminum stuff is typically 37*.

Andy the banjo bolts in the VP stuff is the same thing as ours.....I used a bunch of VP connections for my hplp setup.

i got a HPPP you can have. its used but works. i took it off a 4bt trying to find a fuel leak. went ahead and put a new one on. i also got my old 3/8 fuel lines and fittings that came with the FASS, and a bunch of fittings that may help you in your quest for more fuel.

Okay so thanks to Chris I was able to get lines and test my fuel system. It seems to work okay on my make shift test setup.

This pump has a screw to adjust pressure so I set it around 14-15 psi dead headed.

I went to the pick and pull Saturday when I got the sthi stung out of me. I spotted a ramcharger that still had its tank. I went out today to pull everything and to my surprise someone already dropped it and its skid plate just to get the plug off the fuel sending unit. So I loaded it in the wheelbarrow and headed out.


Now my trans has decided to start puking fluid out the front seal. I'm debating throwing in the 47rh as it is. Levi I know you had offered to give me that tank and I appreciate it but I just couldn't make the trip up there.
