Gonna have to drill out the ( i think its the top two) hole in the manifold a little bit in order to fit the 351 studs threw it, along with the 4in. downpipe, and most likely going to need to remake your intercooler piping to the turbo
Worth it in my opinion ;)

You need the specific flange for the downpipe.

http://www.dieselautopower.com/product_ ... flange.htm

If i recall correctly the compressor outlet is 2.75" so you will need a reducer hose to fit your intercooler pipe. Also, a way to block off the solenoid port if you do not have the stock solenoid.

Other than that your golden.

The "command valve" in this picture. If you do not have it then you need to plug the port as you can see in my picture above.

I bought this plug:

http://www.dieselautopower.com/product_ ... tapped.htm

But if you have the solenoid than keep it. With no power connected the wastegate will open at 20psi and with 12v on the solenoid it will open at 40 psi.

You could, then it would always be set for 40psi.

I ran mine on a toggle switch......therefore the solenoid is not always activated when vehicle is running.

If you run that same toggle to some sort of valet switch......you have both the turbo and fueling working in unison.

Its an option, for unloaded running you wont need anymore than 20psi very often. As RCCUMMINS mentioned it would be a nice de-tuner with a valet & wastegate solenoid on a toggle for those not used to the power of a diesel (wife/kid/friend). Might also be good for a summer/winter setting.

I am interested in a working solenoid if you do not use it, it would make for a great summer/winter option for me.
