It's in the stock position with respect to the head.

Back it off about 1/4".... Now, if it is like my set up...you'll find that it will increase smoke when tipping into the throttle though. But it will greatly help with spoolup. I bet it'll give you 2-5 more psi when chugging down the road and hitting small inclines.

Timing can make a huge difference. I tried spooling at the line with my ksb on, and what a joke that was. 10 seconds to spool is no bs. The other morning while doing some testing in 4wd I decided to try spooling with my ksb off. Wow!!!!!! What a difference that made. We are talking near stock spool up. Time for me to rig a pressure switch up on my ksb.

Ya, I'm thinking about adding my ksb to my adjustable timing spacer so that I can do it in the high rpms.

I got the idea from someone else.....and it is a good idea.

You as well as a few others have told me about this before. It's just that I've been fighting other gremlins!!!

But I hoe to get this truck dialed in a little better. Did you ever mess around with different pressure switches?? Like 15,20,25 psi.

I've never messed with different pressures, but mine seems to work well coming on at 20 psi. That is where mine starts cooking anyways.

Thank you sir!! I went to my local napa a while ago, and it was in the back of my mind. Stayed there too. I'll grab a 20psi switch next time I'm in there.

When I get home I'll get a part # for you. Certain ones have a crazy dead band or don't work at the correct pressures.

Napa 701-1575 is the pressure switch I've got to activate my KSB at 20psi of boost. 20psi is about the max for it to consistently make and break. They make some that work for higher pressures, but the dead bands are bigger than I would like. I had mine on a Druck at work and it was changing states at 19.3-19.7 psi.

It is adjustable. Pop the rubber cap off the end and there is an adjustment screw.

You may find something that would suit you better on Napa's website, I had no luck at the store. They didn't even know they sold them until I gave them a part number.

Thanks buddy. I didn't have time at work to mess with all that today.

Like I said in that post, 20 psi is about the max setting on that one, but it is consistent and has very little deadband.
