i custom biult everything, including flanges i welded the back part of the turbo right to the hot pipe instead of making another one, i went to a regular pipe store and got a 3/8 4inch 90o, and 1 foot of 4inch 3/8 pipe and welded it all together

what i would do if i biult another set, its just a recomendation, but i would go out and get a scrape cummuns motor and biuld it on there first then put it on you truck

check my photobucket page out in my sig got lots of pic of the biuld, i shill have to get a shop to weld up my turbo to turbo pipe, i dont have the welder

yep that its just normal 4" ex pipe i figured if its good enough for the turbo setup on my 1400hp small block and everybody elses race stuff then its good enough for this setupmine is 4"id if i used 3/8ths 4" id the od of the pipe would be to large to weld to my bottom turbo flange

yup 3/8's is how thick mine is might be a bit over kill but it super strong and it fit perfecly on my botom flange, exhaust piping for a down pipe is not strong enough it will crack, diesel burn way hotter then gas does Ford

on a full quarter pass my egts may be at 1600 with a really not tune. my friend says at the end of the tracck he can see my dp and headers glowin orange. horsepower makes the heat and at 1400hp there is plenty of heat.

3/8"s is huge. I don't have that thick of dom tubing for the exocage on a jeep. You're not worried about all that weight on the manifold?

Most are 1/4 and the wieght is carried by the bottom turbo support too. Standard pipe won't last if there is any kind of bind. Once it cools and shrinks it will crack and become brittle at the flanges.

Pipe supply house. Ask for hydraulic weld fittings. This stuff is not easily found on the web so get out your yellow pages and call supply houses or mechanical companies that deal with hydraulics.
