caleb, the 904 and 727 always got the band put in before the drum, while the trannies went down the assembly line. I have had some struts that were difficult to get in with the drum installed. The main advantage of a 47 over the 727-518-46rh is the double wrap L&R band, no anchor and apply linkage, the lever applies directly on a protrusion of the band.
