 Sometimes I still wish I had a rust bucket. We had the worst winter in decades last winter and it shows on the passenger side. :( Oh well, you can't put a price on experience.

Agreed. I'm excited for my hungry diesel sticker to come in. Then I just need a new windshield and it can go on

So I put new bushings in my rack and pinion on my 96 intrepid.....That was a pain in the butt!.....talk about a F'd up set up.... I got the 01 pretty well fixed for the kid, need a one way check valve\filter for the module I gutted because it drains all the fuel from the IP and its a B*tch to start after it's sat for a day.

Does anyone know if the gears out of a Dana 60 rear will swap with a Dana 60 front? I have a 83 Ford D60 semi float rear with 3.55 gears and want to change the 4.10's in my front 96 Dana 60 in my Ford.

If your 60 in the front is a high pinion model that is a reverse rotation axle. A standard set of gears will not work.

I did a fast google search. It looks like that 96 is a high pinion axle.

You are correct. I called Randy's this morning about it. Just shy of $700 for the gears and master kit.

Another Cat truck took a dump today. 5000 miles and the injectors are failing. Move over 6.0L Power Stroke, here comes the Cat CT660.

Dirty deals aside, these Cat trucks have to go. They just don't run and when they don't run we hire outside haulers to the tune of $100+ per hour. I sure think that gliders have to make sense on paper at this point in time.

All cat over the road engines suck. In 10 years we have put 13 engines in his Pete. Although if you want job security a cat mechanic is set.
