So I ran again today. 16.993@72.38mph, again no OD due to it not wanting to shift at WOT. Watching my go pro, I'm gear bound by the 1/8.

Out of 36 vehicles, I got to round 2 of eliminations. Progress!

I'm going to wire a WOT switch to a potentiometer to set it to shift at 65mph.

So I am going to rebuild my front suspension. Any tips and tricks? I have a 12 ton shop press, courtesy of Harbor Freight. It is really nice. If anything, I should have spent the extra $80 for the 20 ton. I also have access to a 3/4" electric Milwaukee impact and tons of penetrate.

Also, maybe Andy can answer, is there a difference in size between the 1/2 ton and 1 ton upper control arms bushings? Do the light duty ones have a smaller bolt? Reason I ask is once I have new ball joints, I want to readjust the front camber. I will be lowering this thing and want proper suspension geometry.

When I ordered mine it was the same part number for both. I just replaced my idler arm and changed front tires. I'll be doing ball joints again this week and changing my bushings hopefully.

Ok. I will wait until next weekend to order my parts.

Trying to decide. Go fast parts/tools or Scheids...

Ordered $323 worth of parts. $120 of that is the lesbo wagon timing belt nonsense but since I owe on it, It get prime maintenance. The other $200 is ball-joints and control arm bushings.

I went ahead and ordered the eccentric upper control arm bushings. When I pull the a part to do the ball joints, I am cutting 1.5 coils out of my springs. The increased spring rate should help with some of the body roll. The front sway bar may be relocated to the rear to help out back there.
