I'll have to call them. I'm not sure its feasible to drive out there, but I bet they can get me parts.

Philip saves the day! I checked at Rowe on a whim and they had what I needed for $27 vs the $40-some that Quad wanted. Local shops for the win!

So I went for blood tests the other day. doctor called yesterday concerned about my cholesterol. It won't really be much of a surprise if it's high though as it's somewhat common on my moms side. As long as the ratio between good and back is good I don't think I'll change anything.

I forgot Rowe had a shop down there. All I think of is the one in Kokomo.

I knew anyplace would be better than quad$X$. I delt with them one time. That was enough to last the rest of my life. I'll buy from autozone before I would call them.

I don't think the kokomo rowes does driveshaft work, I think it all goes over to Lafayette, they did my front and rear shaft when I put in the six speed, been over 10 years now, no problems.

I don't think kokomo does, they don't seem to have the space.

anyone know where to get a set of cheap 18.4-38 tractor tires??? Around Iowa preferably. One of dads went bad I can get Titan tires for 684 a piece but dad can't hardly justify that since we only use it maybe 10 hours a year if that.

Road trip by myself to Montana this weekend starts tomorrow. Going to visit my cousin, and her 6 month old girl. Then it's only 5 and a half hours to Corvallis

Anyone here work on land rovers? I'm working on now, installing an engine in place of one that was crispy crittered by a woman.
What a POS! It took me 2hrs to get all the bell housing bolts out and almost as long to get them back in with the wiring harness brackets back on. What a world of stupidity. They have room every where else but at the cab fire wall and floor board pinch point. I guess your supposed to remove engine and trans as an assembly or something. Dumb!

Tell me about it! The job only calls for 10.some odd hours. Ridiculous!
It's done now and I won't ever touch another landrover discovery again. That's a profound discovery for sure.

Learning curve, fasten your seat belt!

Man it's cold here today! Only got up to about 6 or 7*. Glad I had an inside job. I didn't even bother to start the truck, I took the old ladies car to work, it gets heat faster and gets better mileage.
