I wasn't going to post any pics until I made my spring mounts all pretty, but it's been like 2 months and I haven't done sthi but run them.
Here's what it looks like when you put 64" chevy leaves on your RC.
I just hacked my body mounts for worst case scenario, my wheels aware about 3/4" too far forward in the wheel well still, but I don't care enough to take it all apart and cut new holes to bother. With the 37" the tires would hit the front of the wheel well at even a little stuff, but these 35" tuck right in there perfect. With my lift/offset they're into the wheel tubs way before they hit anything else now. Since the tubs sit right against the back seat, my only options are spacers/new wheels, limiting the up travel, or chop off the armrests and tub it. Think I'll limit the uptravel, since it's locked on both ends I'm not worried about lifting tires.
Rears are DIY4x4 hangars/shackles, I got the fronts where they needed to be and just played with them until I got a decent shackle angle. I went a lot more verticle on them since I put the old dodge at 45* and it immediately sagged and rode like sthi. This thing is hella plush, but with only two springs it's still pretty under-damped. I've got to look into different shock options, I don't feel like fabbing up a dual shock setup.
The springs sit pretty flat at ride height, I'm flexing a little there the way it's parked so it's negatively arched in the pic.
My dilemma here is that I'm still dealing with my busted, reversed-arch front leafs. I don't want it any taller, but fitting steerin/swaybar stuff in here is getting to be a nightmare. Here's some pics of where the front bar used to mount, I've given up on it and am just movin it to the back for now, but I've got to get something up here. There isn't room for much. =\
I've got a new piece of DOM waiting to get bent for my draglink, there was a miscommunication when I ordered it and it wouldn't fit. I hacked until it did and it put my link end at a pretty crappy angle.
Here's the rears tucking, you can see it's pretty close up front. Like I said though, it's all into the tubs way before it gets this far up. Then they just rub more as you flex up.
