My friend took the fuel screw the rest of the way to the bottom (about 1 turn), and nothing. No idle increase, no attempt to runaway (IC pump).....and no power difference.

I've gathered (or maybe made it up in my head  ) that the 1st turn on the screw will add more hp than say the last turn before runaway. Is that wrong?

I've never heard that. Quit thinking with the little head and you won't have those problems. And a bunch of others too! ;)

Only way 1 turn can be different are a few different ways................

1 - a simple geometery relation.....if a screw is pushing on something that is 180 degrees (though it is not even close to that) it wont move the other end of a fulcrum the same distance as if it is 90 degrees to a screw. Those numbers I used are made up numbers in order to EXAGGERATE the point I'm making in geometry.

2 - the internal h/r pressures toward the last part of the duration are too much and one is literally getting blow by. Small injectors would exaggerate this affect. This affect is 100% accurate and true to what happens. If it were not, one would have the SAME cc output, regardless the size of the injectors.

So.......Pete........ maybe you aren't the one who can keep up, because his head his larger.......BURN!!!!!!

Much appreciated, the fulcrum angle/geometry you spoke of makes sense. I've wondered about it for some time

For DD that may tow some, what's the biggest recommended injector in 5,6 and 7 hole count? The 7 won't interest me, but still curious.

6 hole runs the cleanest sub 1800 ish rpm. Above that, 5 hole and 6 hole run fairly similar.

Will a 6 hole that flows 50 lpm spool a turbo any different than 50 lpm 5 hole?

Yes and no.....only in instances where the 5 is flooding things out will it make a difference.

As in gross over fueling?

The 6x13's I've been seeing seem to be really popular is why I'm asking.

Flooding pre boost is easier with 5 hole than 6.

What turbo again?

Eventually your 62. But unfortunately an h1c or hx for a while :?

If I backed the screw off the fulcrum lever, could that size injector be run and be tamed to under 40 psi with an HX?
