Friend of mine found a first gen dodge minivan, sedan delivery style short wheelbase 2.2 5 speed. the windowless vans were very rare, I saw one at Chryslers at Carlisle a few years ago, tubbed, subframed, sporting a mid engine 440. He was wondering what it would be worth has nice body and interior, motor stuck, been sitting.
93 w250 6 speed 4" exhaust, caution, work truck, she's no beauty. building 1 ton dually 4x4, dana 80, 48rh, 205 Scratch the one ton, bought frt. dually 4x4 98 12 valve with the tiny rear doors. rides so much better than the 93.

I got the motor from the welder mostly installed into the Wheel Horse tonight. I got if far enough along to fire it up.

I don't think its worth a whole lot. You are selling to a small group of people. 2.2's are getting harder to find. Most people have scrapped them.

Yea for a good reason. 40k head gasket changes. If the engine was turbo'd drop that to 20K head gasket changes. Plus they were very under powered.

Put a family onboard it wasn't enough engine to hold speed on a small hill. If you hit a big hill be ready to push.

I've gotten more than 40k out of head gaskets lol but once they go if they got hot at all you're looking at another head. I've ran 5 cars with 2.2 and the 2.5s and had good luck with them other than if you get them hot.

I know a couple people mess with 2.0s and I'm wondering if anyone has the tool to install the crank gear and if I could borrow it.

Are you talking about for the timing belt DF? I used a hotplate to heat my last one (ok, the only one ive done) enough til itd slide on, then eyeballed it. Got lucky and it looked good. Other trick Ive seen is to heat the gear until it will slide on, then install the crank balancer/pulley right away before the belt drive gear is cool and it will set it to the correct depth.

A friend of mine had one but with an auto. It was a rot box and you could see the ground from inside the van. Theres another one running around here and its immaculate. Guy uses it to sell junk at flea markets.

Yeah, the first one I done I must have gotten lucky because I just beat it back on and it's been good for 60k miles lol. This one I beat it on some but it's taking more force than the other one so I stopped. If the balancer sets the depth I may try to find one and cut the balancer off then turn the inside so it slides on and off and make my own.

Got the motor finished with all the shields in place, exhaust hooked up and wiring cleaned up. It runs great now! I can't wait to put ag lugs on it and load the tires.

I'm back, spent all of last year saving for and building a shop. The building is done, put in a 6" concrete floor. Going to try to work on the driveway tomorrow with a friends skid loader. Nice to have a shop in my backyard... in town. The shop put everything else on hold.

Might resurrect the puller again once I have the electrical buried and the wiring done inside.

I built my shop last year too and its not done on the inside either, but going from shadetree status to a shop makes a huge difference! 8)

Ditto on what Ellis said. I think I got my pyro sorted on The Roo Hunter. I'm pretty sure the thermocouple pins pulled out of the connector enough to mess up the reading, so hopefully it's good now. I also got about half the mods done to my overhead pod to have that mounted how I want. Just need to get more 1/8" air line, so I can run both boost gauges up there. I also finally got the bung welded into my cold pipe, so the 2nd boost gauge has something to hook up to.
