if you have done any mods to your motor at all I would highly recommend an alloy input shaft, I have seen 2 shattered lockup input shafts on totally stock cummins trucks. If you don't have the funds for that, find a gasser lockup 518 and use the parts off of that. The valve body itself was the same wether it was diesel or gas, all you need to do is take the little covers off the sides of the vb and put the diesel springs in, if they are a different color. All the internal springs in the vb are color coded if there was a difference. Never mix and match the steel separator plate, or the transfer plate, keep those together with the valve body. The input and reaction shaft support out of the lockup gasser will fix you right up.
