Hello From Ohio

Postby cummins2getu » Tue Jul 19, 2016 11:49 am

Hi every one. Long time viewer, 1st time poster. Lots of good info here. Just picked up a 93 D250 with a utility bed. All original, 169,000 miles. Lived its live in Georgia until about 3 months ago. This one makes about the 6th one I have had. As soon as I figure how to post pictures, I will get some up.

Unless he put "seagull slappers" aka tow mirrors on it, it appears to be a different truck. Notice that the box is different too, as the OP's has a cut out for the wheel chocks, while the FB pic, there isn't any, along with the rear most bin door opens differently.

Not mine but a nice truck. Mine was originally red. Supposedly the bed has been on it since the truck was new. Who ever put it on did a good job. They didn't cut the stock bed mounts up, they made brackets for the bed to bolt to them. It has a stainless steel floor in it. My 4 year old boy loves it. He now can put toys in the tool boxes when we go places. I just replaced the original exhaust with a 4" system. I think the stock muffler was have plugged because it weighs as much as the whole new system. All new brakes in the back. Bypassed the RWAL valve. Replaced all the motor-trans mounts. 23 year old stock ones completely trashed. Its a work in progress. Thanks for all the complements and posting that picture.

Thanks. Are you also on Competition Diesel? That picture of your truck looks familiar.
