The yard/plow truck I've been fighting with for a year now to run right finally would fire, just crank. Figured that was the issue, lucky it had been replaced before and the egr stuff had been anti seized, but just trying to unbolt/bolt it in place and trying to hook the wires up, maybe it was just this one, but there is zero extra wire, had to ziptie the connection cause the holding clip had been broke

All the ones I've done I've gotten from the bottom and snaked my hand up through. I have done them from the top but a lot I've done on the bottom. If you pull it again egg the holes out and slide it over to advance the timing a touch. slide it towards the passenger side to advance it. I've done it to 4 of them and they seem to run better and pick up a mpg or two. some of them you have to open the hole in the bell housing if you want more advancement also.

I wondered if one could cheat the system and slot the holes, if it would gain some, ill have to remember that.

So, I looking at a 95 Ford, with a cummins conversion. Guy says it has a 94 industrial 12v swapped into it. Other than being an engine that sits alot, or runs alot at one rpm, what's the difference between an industrial 12v and a truck 12v. It's mates to the ford manual trans and it runs and drives around, so I assume the pumps been swapped to a truck pump, but not sure yet which one

Happy thanksgiving. Even though you're a month, and a half late.

Since there was a sale on I ordered some retrofit projectors, and hid bulbs for The Roo Hunter. Once they get here I'll build a relay harness, and put them it, so I'll finally have good headlights while not blinding people with the scatter.

It's not weird. It's just ready for things earlier.

After more than three and a half years I finally have a spare key for The Roo Hunter.; The truck is running pretty good, and the ksb switch is functional, but I can't really tell a difference in power (I couldn't tell a difference bumping the timing either).

Are any of you guys familiar with the generator on a positive ground Ford 4000 tractor? Mine isn't charging. It passed the bridge test and with the tractor running I'm showing 3.5 v on the regulator A terminal, 9.5 v on F 12.6 on B ( same as the static voltage on the battery). Any help would be appreciated.

Hope no one is burning up in Tennessee! For those in the area, near or around,is it as bad as I'm seeing in the news? I don't really trust any news organizations these days.

From what I have gathered from some relatives in the area, Gatlinburg is getting pretty tore up. I lived down there in the area for a few years when I was younger. Pretty sad, I had a lot of fun there when I was younger.

From the places I follow on FB that are in that area it's bad. I'm hoping the cabin I proposed to Shelby is okay but I know a bunch of stuff on that road is gone now do to the fire.

Finally, after almost a month, finally get everything squared away with the insurance co about my accident. Naturally, they totaled it, but today was the first time I really had a chance to look over the damage, other than a quick glance. This is the majority of the damage, though the grille is busted up, bumper pushed back, and the hood had a couple small dents.
I did find a thread on here about a guy who repaired roof rot, so I'm gonna try and follow his lead by replacing the dented section, and try to get a windshield back into the truck, as well as fix some rust, since cabs are so hard to find
