Ok on the additive. I may do that. I have a new 5.9 qsb marine to break in this spring. Not sure if that has flat tappets or rollers?? I also have a 1st service due on a new 4045 deere motor in our 450 e dozer. Pete, what does your company use for oil? Have you had any factory bulletins or recommendations for the older style engines? For all I know the last 3 drums I have had have been the newer oil. Not sure. The last 2 55 gallon drum empties are now my shop stove so the labels and paint have since burned away.
Loader is going good. Loaded a few hundred yards with it so not a ton of usage. The e brake is a pain. I adjusted it like you said and it worked for about a week. Back to not holding at all.
