Hey all. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm a diesel mechanic by trade, and work for a small shop here in Winfield,KS. We end up working on just about anything diesel, but we primarily work on class 8 trucks. I was in the oil-field for 10+ years and was darn proud to be, however I am not moving my family all over chasing after work and grew tired of starting over from the up and down nature of the oil market. I transitioned to being a full time mechanic at the first of this year. I only bring all this up because I've made reading here and on CompD part of my daily routine for years now. The education I've received reading you all's threads and the information you all have shared has enabled me to better myself and a create a better quality of life for my family. So..yea..a big thanks to you all and especially to BC847 for helping my techno-illiterate azz get registered proper here. Glad to finally be part of the 1stgen.org fold!
