I think 235 80 r17's and yes 17x8's american racing. Jegs had them for 144 each and free shipping. Had a hell of a time on the rear. Truck had 5/8's inch studs on the rear so I ordered 5/8 acorn nuts for the rear and the 1/2 inch for the front. Well, these have very recessed lug holes so the nut would fit, but no socket would fit. Had to pound out the big studs and put stock 1/2 back in. O well, nothing is ever easy. These rims are machine finish, not clear coat. They are rated for 3500 pounds each.
Another thing, I get so many " hey nice truck " when ever I drive any of my 3 first gens. Its pretty funny, They stare at them like they are pure gold. I tease my old man because he hates my old trucks and I just say " how many times did you hear NICE TRUCK today "
