Was this the same 3.2 cam plate that appeared to measure out same as stock?

Or found one from another application?

Yes

Didnt know if by 3.2 you meant stock or other application since stock is typically called a 2.8

What gov spring does it come with, are options available? Is the afc set up with a longer "slide pin" thingamajigger for more afc control? If not, is that optional? Also what rpm was your peak hp? Do all camplates actually measure 3.2?

I think BC's truck would be over 500 hp already with a lockup trans, 600 or close to it with this pump. The internal mods that you've done...would they be of benefit feeding a 14 mm head compared to a stock 12 mm pump?

Yes a 14mm will still move more than a 12.

Can set them up however, afc wise. Same with gov spring, whichever.

Dyno peak was about 2200 rpm, but it held almost flat til I let off. At 3k or so. They waived trucks early on the dyno.

2200 revs for peak hp

My Lord no wonder the torque was so much!

Well... it's a ve.... lol.

By design, a ve will always have its peak fueling come in at 1900 rpm. The best I've ever seen is it holds full fueling to about 2400, and then every pump starts to taper off. Minor on these pumps, but still tapers.

So basically if your turbo setup isn't fully lit by 1900 with a ve you could say your not seeing max potential power?

Even on my wimp truck I know peak hp via butt dyno is immediately when the turbo lights fully, then it's steadily downhill from there.

It’s always been rather interesting to me how 5.9’s always seem to struggle with spooling turbos compared to a 6.7. I still don’t have a tach on The Roo Hunter. she definitely lights up earlier than jaeger, but jaeger lights an 76/83/.9 at around 1900rpm, while the secondary on The Roo Hunter measures 60/60/.7.

I bet 40+ extra cubes helps spool a given turbo sooner, do the commonrail 5.9s not spool close to 6.7s either?

Eric had a 67/87/.9 on his 06 when he first put dual pumps, and 100% over injectors in that spooled like an 80/83 did on mine with stock fuel. About 2100rpm. That same 467 would spool around 17-1800rpm with good tuning on a 6.7.
