Hello everyone!
I've been a cummins guy all my life (except for one Ford 6.0 but we won't talk about that ) I have an 89 W350 project that I'm working on. It has a lot that I want to do with it. I've been reading a lot and trying to learn as much as I can. This is my first truck project but I've redone a lot of tractors in the past so I'm not a newbie at turning wrenches. Basically I'm just trying to find the best way to do things. I'm kind of particular so I like things done right. At the moment I'm working on the chassis. It has a lot of rust. Mostly surface but I may have a few spots that may need addition repair. I won't know until I actually tear into it. I'm going to take the bed off and start sanding and wire brushing then coat it with rust inhibitor, paint, and undercoating. If anyone has any tips or things to look out for please let me know.
Thanks!
Woody
