Is it genuine JD or Yanmar? Can those fuel systems move enough fuel to make use of compounds?

Anyone had the head off an IC’d 6bt with more than 20* base timing and noticed if the spray was still in, on the edge of or out of the bowl?

I can’t remember anymore which it actually was. Realistically it’d be better off with a bigger set of injectors when going to compounds, but they’d still run alright a little underfuelled. As a show piece compounds are always a good conversation starter though.

I’ve had a set of 5” led spot lights for my car for over six months, and this last weekend I finally got around to building the brush guard, mounting, and wiring them. Just in time to not really need headlights anymore (though I think I’ll get a few days when daylight savings time kicks in). I can see the light on the highway when it’s still pretty light out though, so that’s nice.

Most I’ve ever left mine on was warming up in the winter. Otherwise just for wot pulls. I just never had a reason to run it longer.

So as I was fuelling up yesterday someone with a sherp rolled up at the next pump, and we got to talking about it. Apparently they run a little kubota diesel that really just sips the fuel, anything you get yourself into you can get out of with reverse (YouTube sherp p trail), and the one he had cost $120,000. I guess the creator of the thing never thought they’d catch on like they did either.

So, after spending almost an hour watching P Trail 1 and 2, and "We bought a Sherp!", I want one! That didn't look like fun wallowing thru the brush and swamp but everybody has their thing they like. $120k? Crazy money right there, but the thing is cool!

As I understand it if you own a jaguar you could get one for a lot less than that as well.

I finally figured out what caused most of the glycol to blow out of the engine on my Jetta last week. Just a little piece of hose popped a hole. Now I’m hoping with a new piece of hose, and some new coolant I didn’t do any further damage running it the 20ish km I did after the overheat light came on. Stupid thing with at least the mk4’s is the temp gauge lies to you. Overheat light on, and temp gauge read a solid unwavering 90.

Ever think of putting a real gauge in it?

The real gauge came in that day. It’s still sitting on the kitchen table, but the car hasn’t moved either.

My soon to be father in law bought a Suzuki RMZ250 fuel injected bike. So far I’m not a huge fan, it quit in the midst of WOT and now has no spark. This bike has a brain and probably 30 wires.....fun
