I just went and looked at my D350, the idler arm is 5 1/2" from center to center. Mine also has more room than yours and doesn't hit. I wonder if you hit something at some point and the center link is bent back? If not, it's weird that it hits.......

5.5...interesting...mine is 6 ctc. Thank you very much for checking that for me...i truly appreciate the help. I also measured the steering arm...same 6 ctc. That's original and never had a wreck. So now I'm thinking my tie rod ball joints are just made wrong and too bulky. Idk..but since draglink is old I might as well buy a new one and see what happens. Never really liked these ifs set ups anyway...they just wear out too fast.

Yeah, lots of weight on the front end that wasn't accounted for when they dropped the big C in them.
