now i might be on crack but i think that my turbo on my 89 is not stock. stupid question but what was 89s stock turbo?
1989 d250 muffler delete diaphram turned, fuel screw turned, the lowes special intake

it is a H1C, alot of time they upgrade the exaust housing, but why do you think its not the stock turbo

If it is the stock turbo it will have a 3" inlet on it. We call those the baby H1C's. The IC'd trucks have a 4" inlet.

well it is a tiny little thing and i saw a 92 which was stock but had a beastly bigger turbo :shock: . i am going to read my sticker real good. how hard is a hx35 swap?

Its not a hard swap, but if you're looking at running the biggest injectors you can get then its a waste of time. Its not that much better than what you have.
92 W250 ext cab 518, big sticks, a-1000, PDR HX40, 4" exhaust w/aeroturbine, pump tweaked, K&N filter Tims Cooler tubes and 3" i/c, gauges

so what turbo would give me the most power with out going twins.
