just finished my 366 spring install. didn't go that bad. for 16$ this was worth every penny! it always felt like i had to floor it everywhere. that problem is no longer. the drivability went way up! much more fun. they should have come from the factory like this!!

Thats exactly how I felt after I installed mine. It was definatly the best money I've spent on my truck. :D

I didn't really notice that much of a difference. :?

I have mixed feelings about the 366 spring. Yes, it dramatically improved the response and power band, but fuel mileage went down as a resultof my consistent testing.
On a serious note, I'm not sure I needed it. My nonIC 91 would rev to 3100 in 5th w/ stock springs, though a few more RPM would have helped with 4.10s. With 3.54s in my 92, I rarely need the RPM.

It Depends...

Depending on the truck and how you drive it, YMMV. I know on mine it was like the difference between night and day, driving a completely different truck. So on a 5sp truck w/4.10 gears, I'd say it is a must-have. I rarely spin it much past 2kRPM anyway, but having fuel right up a little past that point when shifting up through the gears makes all the difference in the world in driveability. Plus, it's nice to have the extra top end for passing on the interstate!

OTOH, a 3.54-geared auto might not need it at all unless you're wanting to hot-rod around with the accelerator on the floor half the time.

tworline gave me some great hints for the 366 spring take both your idle screws completly out mof the pump and tighten up the linkage mine had a little clip you can take out and pull the cable through farther mine still wasent getting full throttle after the install to get you idle up without the low idle screw take the jam nuts loose on the clip on linkage to the pump and turn it till ur idle comes up to where you would like it its great no more sloopy loose peadel neither!!
