I'm still shaking, what a rush. I wasn't on it that hard and it wanted to go through the neighbors house without the use of the steering wheel. This kind of power is crazy.

To think pulltilbroke had to convince me to try to light the turbo with the existing pump for the heck of it.

Cool video. That truck came alive once that big single lit.

Good music too. Reckless Kelly has to be my favorite band of all time.

It's a journal bearing GT4202 used on a 500HP detroit diesel application, with a few personal touches. The boost gauge was passing 30psi when I glanced, which is a ton of air considering this is a mid frame charger. The AFC was way tight, 1/4 down on the fuel pedal, and I was running only the walbro 392@14 psi (this is due to a fuel leak which reared it's head right before this video was shot).

I want to put down a few runs on the new pump before I tell some of whats on this truck now. I will say the majority of parts were fabricated by me.

I want to know if anyone can ever recall a 12mm (or 14mm for that matter) ever lighting a charger this big.

I have a Garrett 4202 derivative I will be using in a twin set-up. That is a fairly large charger to run as a single. I did consider trying it....... but decided it wasnt worth the effort. Let us know how it performs. Unfortunatly a 50 foot acceleration is not enough to prove its performace to me. Would be awsome if it works well though.

I tried a 2.7x3.2" s400 .90hsg on my truck for awhile with the 12mm, but it was too lazy on the street for me. It would light and run good but had too much lag and didn't make the torque I like.

Jeffs truck is not a "street truck" so we dont care how laggy it is

And we cant hook with twins in our area

No Bill, they're not the injectors you made in your drill press you've been trying to pawn off on all the forums as Schieds.

It wasn't 50 feet, thats half a block at 1/4 pedal, in 3rd gear. Then I let off! Video is enough proof for the world friend, period. This is no street truck. Twins are not legal for pulling in our area 95% of the time in any class.

Sorry, if I come across wrong here, but I sense a lot of scrutiny here, I'm not going to just accept that.
