Well im gonna stack her for sure but a few questions for you guys first
is there a stack kit out there for a 1st gen (i cant seem to find one)
if not no big deal
i going to do stainless from the turbo back so i never have to deal with it again and was wondering size wise what is 2 big or 2 small

i will be doing a bit of heavy towing with this truck so bigger exhaust will help keep me cooler so what would u recomend

plus a exhaust brake will go in throughout this process also

those guys make a universal kit that will hook up under the bed. There are a couple places that make 4" down pipes, but I don't think any body makes a complete turbo back stack kit for our trucks. Try https://www.sourceautomotive.biz/index.php for a down pipe. They make a good one but it ain't cheap. $200.

4" is all you need. You don't "need" a full 5" until pretty high rwhp levels. As far as keeping temps down, what other mods do you have on your truck? A full 4" straight pipe will lower temps, and if you have a stock truck, I don't think you should worry too much about temps. towing uphill.

yes right know it is stock or close to it

i dont want to go over 350 400hp (nothing crazy) with this truck i just want it to run better then it does know and pull a little better then it does know

like i said this truck will never be a monster HP machine just a good daily driver with some power and snap when i want it then my foot can go back into hybrid mode for a few miles :D

You will be suprised by just doing the simple pump mods, it will feel like you have a whole different truck. These things are pretty sluggish in stock form, but it doesn't take a whole lot for them to be real fun. 8)
