so I figured out that the inlet to the compressor is 4". Is there some sort of 4" flexible tube that can connect it to the airfilter? What did you all do for that?

also where did you guys find the adapter for the oil line?

$15 for a 45* coupling! I think I will use some 4" radiator hose to connect to 4" exhaust tubing thats bent to fit...

although I do need to change my airfilter. What is the part number for the napa BHAF?

Would it be bad to put the 18.5 housing off my old H1c on the HX35?I just pulled my old turbo off and just the compressor wheel/housing was destroyed. The exhaust side looked fine, maybe a bit sooty because the compressor wasnt working....Otherwise I would be using the 12 WG housing of the HX35,although I wired the WG shut.

truck has the 727 auto.

How much suction will the airfilter see at full boost? Is it exactly opposite of full boost?IE 40 lbs of boost=40" of vacuum?

I am having a rather difficult time finding something sutable for the intake tube from BHAF to the turbo.Worst thing is I need something locally.I can't go and order those fancy rubber ducting and aluminum tubes online and sit with my truck down for two weeks at the minimum so I need something now.

Almost thinking 4" dryer hose, tightly wrapped with ducttape or something.Or even the Heavy duty stuff.Might even use pipes...

Get a 4 inch furnco hubless plumming connector from any hardware store. It will slide over the outside diameter of your stock rubber intake. Then take the other end an put it on your turbo.

I ended up getting some Semi-rigid 4" dryer pipe.Rather than the normal dryer stuff that is aluminum foil over a few wires this stuff has some beef to it.Its supposed to be about 8ft all streched out,but with it compressed it is only about 2.5'.When its compressed its very stiff. If I put my hands around it and try to crush it I can't.When its extended however it is very easy to crush-might be why it has a low pressure rating of 6" WG.but with it compressed I can strain all I want against it and it wont colapse so I dunno.

the way I figure anyway unless my airfilter is supper plugged up it shouldnt have much vacuum anyway.especially now that I have a BHAF.

the BHAF is fricken huge!!!

If it does crush it might be in your new turbo. If something sounds like a dremel tool under the hood that might be bad.
