Is that the standard question at pump shops? "What are you trying to do?" I heard it from both of the local shops when I was looking for my 366 spring. When I explained that I wanted to raise the rpm that the pump de-fuels at, they looked at me like I was a flippin retard or something. "Why would you want to do that? The ve is about maxed out at the stock 160 hp. It won't flow any more fuel than that, and just isn't a good pump for making power. More suited to VW's." "O.K., thanks for the info" I said when I left, spring in hand. I proceeded to black out the neighborhood on my way out with my little ve. Sure looked like more than 160hp worth of fuel, but I've been wrong before.....
