Shift lites and recall tachs??

anyone know where i can get a tach that has the capability for a shift lite and work on a diesel?

I would really like a 5" tach

Recall would be nice too but the shift lite is most important as we no longer have a govenor to stop the motor from revin - so it will rev just like a gasser - till it blows if you keep your foot in it

so i wish to set my shift point at 3800 rpm and i can tell you from 20 year experience - you aint got time to be watchin the tach while drivin/pullin

I am quite happy to fabricate or adapt a gasser tach if anyone has a proven solutuon

I have both a dodge balancer sensor, and a Ford gear sensor in my possion if they can be adapted and made to work

Enterprise Engine offers one like what you want. I also think the AUtometer ones that use the alternator can be programed to work as well.

All I can find is enterprise engine performance and tha tsite doesnt have a tach that I could find

They used to have a diffrent site. I don't think the new one is complete but they should have what you need if you call them. 1-800-783-4929
