My 91 cummins has a very bad oil leak... It seems that it is coming from a plastic piece on the drivers side behind the injection pump and fuel filter. Also above the oil pressure sensor. leaks about a qaurter of a quart each time i turn it off. Please Help.

I believe that there is a lifter cover behind the plastic sound deadening stuff. If that's the case I would say that you need to re-seal the lifter cover.

thats a big job i dont think u can get the cover off with out the injection pump off

That could suck. I thought it was a two piece cover? I never bothered to look close on my old truck though.

Nope, it's a 1 piecer. Can't do it with the injection pump in there. Not really a bad job, just have to pull everything out of the way. IP, lines, filter, line from the LP to the filter head, throttle linkage.
