almost lost her

Postby jwatso8 » Fri Dec 18, 2009 12:45 am

well the other night i almost lost her, to run away. i guess i had the pump turned up pretty good. i did all the pump adjustments to the pump. and the other day i finally got the 366 governor spring. that $20 part was the hardest thing to put in, so far. anyway, i had to back out the full fuel screw to get the top pump cover back on. i guess i lost the original setting. so i put it back to were i thought it was at. it was wrong, i started the truck up, it started screaming, i got it shut down. found out real quick what was wrong. just adjusted the fuel screw. the truck runs good now. i would have to say, the gov spring was the best mod yet. it fuels so much harder. another thing i learned is buy a 60lbs boost gauge. you'll need it if your going for performance. now i got to buy a new boost gauge, also going to pick up a trans gague too.

Probably want to plan on studs and a HG too if you're needing a 60psi boost gauge.

Ace your right, i got the waste gate set at 40psi. and now it hits it real quick. im in need of some head studs i know. im just debating whether to just replace the old HG or to get the head fire-ringed. i realy need a transmission that will put the power on the ground! im afraid of what kind of boost it would make if it would really load the engine.

Boost her up and take a pic of the guage!

My buddy's 02, with New era +200 injectors, juice with attitude, and twins only hits 51 psi.

Get a Photobucket account, transfer your pics to there. Then scroll your cursor over the pic, and a menu shows underneath. Click on the bottom choice, copy and paste here. Easy, once you've done it a couple times. ;)

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.
