Where to find blown up view of cummins motor for a 93? Tring to find out whtat's on the behind the injection pump cause that's where my oil leak is coming from.

my truck was leaking under the injection pump, because the nut was missing on the stud that woulds the pump on. :shock:
1992 cummins, 2wd, A518, WH1c, 60mm,12cm housing, fuel screws maxxed, fuel pin turned and ground, 3200rpm spring, big Amsoil air filter, 4" stack, timming bumped, piston lift pump, Bosch 190's, 18" Maxxi Hulk rims, and Nitto Terra Grapplers.

there is a side cover running the length of the motor

Yep, thats the lifter cover, they tend to leak. I recomend an aftermarket alluminum one, the stock ones are stamped steel. You have to pull out the injection pump and every thing else to put in a new gasket. :(

Yea that's what me and my buddy was wandering/thought everthing had to come off, is that quite a pita?

ITS NOT HARD JUST ALOT OF WORK.

I'd just get the gasket from cummins and replace it, and keep the original cover there. I mean, honestly, it lasted 15-20 years, the next one should last almost as long. Are you really going to have the truck in 15 years?

Have you checked all the side cover bolts, mine was leakin and I snugged em up and the leak almost went away
90 W250 reg cab, Modified knuder valve, reversed reciprocting dinglearm adjusted, High volume flux capacitor,upgraded whirlygig, A clutch and a hitch
93 W350 ext cab dually, getrag and a few adjustments

That's the tappet cover gasket.
