how wide of wheel spacers do i need to run 265 75s and where is the best place to get them

Is the truck a 4x4? If so I'm pretty sure you won't need spacers for 265's.
My W250 has 285's on stock wheels with no spacers and no rubbing.

I have a stock 1992 2wd 3/4 ton and i run 265/75/16s in the winter, i have had them on the factory wheels, 2nd gen wheels, and now american racing wheels all with no problems. In the summer I put on 18" Mazzi Hulk rims with 285/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers, they rub the fenders a little.

sorry im talking about a dually 2wd forgot to mention that. just wondering if 265 will fit on the back without touching.

Probably will touch. WHy do you want 265s? They arent any taller than the 235/85 tires that are likely on there.

Friend of mine ran 285's for a short while with out spacers. They touched a hair at the bottom. Hope that helps.

could you get rims off a newer dodge? (94 and up) my budy runs 285/75/16s on his and they dont rub even when towing. I dont know but they must have a different ofset? Just make sure they have the right inner hub diameter. I have a 1980 chevy that has ford wheels with a bigger diameter center and the inner one moves around, and is wearing the studs down. I only use it as a yard truck though. I personally dont like wheel spacers on street vehicals.

If you guys find a STOCK wheel that'll run 235-85-16s and NOT touch with @ 3,000 pounds directly over the axle, please do let me know.
The tires can take way more than that, but they are too close.

Seems like anything from '72 through '02 are all too narrow for that much tire.

Sorry, not adding any useful info here. Just thought I'd share. I got behind an early 80's chevy with a service body on it yesterday. Something looked like it was flapping under the left side. When we got aout of the curve and straightened up I could see light between the sidewalls of the left inner tire. I backed off a bit and followed him untill he pulled into a gas station. I pulled in and told him he had a blown inner tire. He said "Yea...its been like that for a little over a month" He was running around 60mph and had a ton of stuff in the back!

I dont think the tires on my old 92 D350 touched with 2 5x5 round hay bales on the flatbed, plus a bumper hitch trailer (loaded with hay) hooked to it. So, there was at least 2500# on it. They werent spaced out like a set of 8R19.5s, but they had probably a 1/2" clearance. I had them pumped up to about 80-85psi.

I had a D350 dully with a flatbed and 235/85/16's on stock rims. I covered that whole bed with sandbags three deep and the tires didn't touch. It rode real nice with that load but it was kind of hard to stop.

Sorry- they were Mastercraft Courser LT 235-85-16. Not a bad tire, and have a relatively narrow tread section.

they werent touching with 4600lbs of floor tile in the back either. i think i only have 65psi in the too.
