Im currently rinning a HTT HTBG. It has the 57mm comp wheel and the wastegated 14cm housing.
Right now with the pods, maxed pump etc.. the egt's are still too warm for serious towing. I was gonna send in the turbo for an upgrade and they said I could go with a 62mm or a 64mm or possibly even the 66.
I know some of you guys here have ran several combos so what should I do.
Without the valet switch I can fog out 4 lanes of traffic and watch the pyro go right past 1400 and the 35 psi boost gauge will be pegged. With the switch temps are good and smoke is managable and the boost stays around 24-30 max.
Oh its a 5sp manual with 4.10 gears.
I guess what Im asking is what have you run and what are the positives and negatives ?
Should I be doing the upgrade or is what I want only doable with twins. I can build the pipes pretty easy and maybe use the turbo I have and just add the big bottom one ??
Lets hear some educated guesses.
