I just put one of the 10 dollar ones in the 93. So far so good just put a tank of fuel in and and gave it plenty of full throttle runs ill keep this updated.
1990 D250 sc Cummins: 175 p pumped motor: (400ccs)100 plate, 4k springs, rack plug,Jl machine 5x16 injectors, ad150, cooler tubz, hellman sump, studs, valvesprings, hx35/3b twins, timing 20 *, soon to be built 47rh
GFs: 1993 w250 cc: Normal pump mods, timing to the head, 3200 spring, denny t stage 2, DDP 4 injectors, hx 40, swapped in a rag
1991 w250 rclb: normals pump stuff 3200 spring

The biggest thing to prolong the life of the plunger is to let off the throttle slow. Or slower. When you let off quick thats when you get backwash that chips the tip. ;)

Thanks for the tip i was guessing thats what would kill it hopefully ill get sum time out off this one :D

Bigger injectors help too. After I went to the 370's, I haven't chipped another one.

i was cosidering something along the lines of 5x14s even tho i like the DDPs but im being choosy about what lift pupm im going to put on it :D

I'm fabbing up a Solenoid that pulls on the shutoff arm on the pump. I bought a big capacitor to hold it for a few seconds after shutdown so I can use my "hot tub" cool down timer again.
