349/827 on #2 Only

Postby TWorline » Mon May 17, 2010 8:07 pm

Here is a video of my truck making 349/827 on the rollers at the 4 Wheel Jamboree in Lima, Oh. The Water/Meth is not working so this was on #2 only.

That sounds very good Tim, do you have a P/S intercooler? kinda looks like one in the grill. those are some nice numbers
i would be happy with those. I bet with the W/M workin it would be in the low 400's

Thanks guys! The dyno operator ran it on the rollers. Jeff is correct, the I/C is a universal ricer that that only cost me around a $100 brand new. It is one of those that will not work in our trucks because it is to cheap. :P As far as the sales go I did ok, and hey it is always good to talk to you as well Jeff.

Yeah it was a quick weekend, it sure was good to see the 1st. Gen crowd again and some new faces as well. That is the highest dyno result with #2 only, 2 years ago I put down 314/910 on a Dyno Dynamics roller at Zanesville, OH. but that was with water/meth. I thought I might have a leak in my system because my boost has been down around 7psi for the last couple of months. It all made sense when I saw a quart of my special mix flow out of the left side by the bumper. I will check it out later this week to see what is going on.

Is this truck a manual or an auto? I think it's a manual (can't see video here).

2nd ...
Been looking for a dyno day close and when I find one I'm a week late

Nice run Tim. BTW - I'll be contacting you about a set of Tubz once I get the PS 'cooler set up to install.
Checking thru other installs I think upside down and in front of the A/C will be the way to go, but first I need to pull some pieces and test fit...

Matt is correct, it has a NV4500 in it. From the pictures that I have seen of the ps retrofit upside down and out front seems to look the best from a fabrication standpoint.

Just for reference here is a 355HP run with an auto... Single turbo at the time on #2
