Non-IC injectors and a 366 spring gave me....

Postby oldestof11 » Sat Oct 30, 2010 5:35 pm

A 16.164 1/4mi @ 82mph! WOOT!

I need more timing DESPERATELY! Best R/T was .107 and the 60' was 2.43.

Nothing. Just lots of RPM's. I have the 366 spring and NO high throttle stop. So somewhere in the 3500 RPM's is max and I kept shifting somewhere in the 28-3000 range.

3500 max seems like a low estimate unless you have the throttle peddle being the limit. i have a 366 spring and no high idle and my truck will run over 4k rpm.

Well, when I did the burn out's I would hit 92 which is 3500 RPM's with a 33" tire. But now lets give it a 80% factor (torque converter efficiency) and it gives me 4375.

hey-Hey!!!,
According to the sticky, non-IC injectors are 4x.013 and the 300 hp, P-pump injectors are 4x.014...just curious. I', quite tempted to try 4x.012 in my non-IC-ed head at some point...in search of better fuel economy. These beasties eat up drivetrain quite quickly enough at moderate power levels...:)
cheers,
