Cuet needs some injectos a cam and some tuneing. 600+rwhp should be pretty easy out of that setup.

Some 5x 0.018's with a wide spray angle would be better suited for that p-pump, that or some competition ddps. A 12V I helped build with a set of ddp comps and one of my cams did 612rwhp no correction with a s465 in a .90 housing.

We are running some 5x16's. They are a little small now, one thing leads to another you know... They will be upgraded. We have a 181/210 cam, again really to small for what we are wanting to do. Feel free to PM me your recommendation on a cam if you will KTA.

Someone with more exp. on a dyno could have gotten a better number. No plate and what not killed the spoolup. Oh well.

Ran good enough to stress the Getrag.

OUCH!! I am amazed it did that though as my input shaft still looked good in my getrag with more hp and torque, of course it has never been pulled. I wonder if that is a replacement input shaft. I know the current inputs everybody sells for rebuilds are imports and I imagine not as good a steel as the oem ones. Do you know if that trans has had a input put in it?

Pretty sure it is the original shaft. We got the truck from the original owner. Had the stock clutch and all in it.

Does it now have a dual disk with unsprung hubs? Perhaps the impact action of the engine with no dampner springs did it in?

The NV273 is from a ford pickup.

That thing looks pretty fat on fuel. I am also curious as to what timing you are running, it might be to low.

It is at 30* by plunger lift. Checked with a light and it said 28*.

It is an unsprung DD. We pulled it a season with an unsprung single disk, and there was no twist. That was with the VE though. One time I was rolling backards when I let the clutch out, supose that did it? :) I am pretty sure the engine makes more than it dyno'd. We just wanted to run something for the fun of it. Our other toy has a stock auto and that probably wouldn't have worked out.
