wait how are you "boosting" with a 6 speed? hope your not slipping the clutch to get the psi's to come up?...

with mine I just flat footed the right pedal, let the clutch grab then let her loose, took me a few tries, with a heavy sled your brain wants to slip the clutch more, but if you rev the piss out of it the wheels will usually spin before you bog

^ Holy drive line shock!

What I did, I did on a 180k+ mile stock Sachs clutch.

Put it in 2LO and either 2nd for hard or 3rd for loose track. Get RPM's up a bit like you are gonna pull out a stuck buddy. Around 1500-1800 is about where it was. As I let out the clutch the 1st time I pulled, I did what everyone said, I slipped until it hooked (about 20ft-50ft) and the floored it. I was 1st and didn't like my 192ft so I came back last. Tried 3rd but sled was set heavy for a short track. I got it back into 2nd, got RPM's up, and slowly let out the clutch. As soon as the sled moved 10ft, I dumped the clutch and floored it. Bogged, bucked, and took off.

When I wrecked the truck 3 weeks later, after 1 more pull, there were 3 spots on the pressure plate where it was blue and about as big and as long as my thumb. The clutch was down to the rivets.

when i did that with my five speed it was a hard track and i could alllmost start out in third gear but it never did work, even after it rained :?
second low in it was way to slow lol i also take off the line at anywhere between t and 2400 rpms :D

Well I do have a Bit bigger clutch, so I beat the he'll out if it, rather bust a ujoint than slip a pricey clutch
