SWEET! Are those manufacturer pins or receiver hitch pins holding the fifth hitch to the rails?

I have rails and hitch but no pins so curious.

I am not sure on that. They very well could be the same. These ones are what came with it when my dad bought the hitch a few years back. He switched over to a full swivel unit, so I ended up with this one.

I may end up pulling the stacks when I tow. I have the rest of my diamond eye kit here so that may be an option. I did not clamp the stacks hard and have had them out a couple times. I also used band clamps on the connections under the truck for the same reason. This truck really pukes the black soot.

A guy down the road from my folks built his own Y with a cutout valve and kept hi tailpipe on as well with his stacks. He cut the tailpipe off so you can't see it and put a turndow. It's hooked to an electric actuator so he can flip a switch and dump the smoke to the ground every couple days when he hauls cattle or horses. Pretty neat setup and he is a master welder by trade so it was nothing for him to fab it up.

I can't believe the camper is that close to the truck, good thing you have the the sliding hitch on it. It looks good Rich.
Instead of pulling the stacks, just hook the tail pipe up underneath and swap out the elbow for a straight pipe when you haul the camper.

Biltit, I have the same pins on mine, and I saw some at Tractor Supply that were the same also.

So they can tease me about having 3 pipes, no way. Also Pete, I put the hitch right where its meant to be. I turned it hard over and it misses the stacks until I get to almost 90 degrees. If I do get in a pinch worse then that I can always slide it back. Its a slider because it was in the old mans short box and they said its what he needed. I don't think he ever slid it back though. I was just worried about it smacking my bed rails. I lowered the hitch on the camper to get it up from them. I have some more up adjustment in the 5 er hitch if its still to close. I think it will clear, I hope..... I also did a axle under leaf spring lift on the camper to gain 4 inches. I welded new spring perches on and bolted them back in. I had to do the same thing to one of dads older 5th wheel campers to fit under a dodge gasser he had in 97.

I meant between the corner of the box and the camper. Must be the angle of the pic, it looks like it's about 18" away.
Being teased about 3 pipes builds character, I got used to it!

I get ya, Yup its close. When I turn I could not get much more then a arm in between the taillight and the camper. I had it all twisted and turned here in the driveway to check clearence everywhere. Its close, but will clear. I would not want it much tighter for sure. The original owner of the camper had it smack his bed rails on his ton chevy. I think I have it higher then he had it. I am going to play around some more here to make sure everything will be ok.

I tried finding some today, weird thing is the holes in the 5th hitch is 9/16'' but the rails will only allow 1/2'' through.
