Bill, I never really thought about it. Andy wanted me to bring it there as well.

Why would I take it there? Is what I am asking you?

Be nice to see how it does out here on these tracks. Schied brings the best of the best and would be awesome to see a stout true 1st gen do good.

I don't really know what to think about this. Its a pull a long way from home and the the fuel cost to get there is not cheap. I would have to buy another tow rig just to make the journey there, it would probably save me 2-6 mpg in fuel alone. If I were asked to be there by Scheid then I might be a little more serious about it, keep in mind my truck is a true 2.6 truck and 2.6 is a mess over to the east of me.

I don't know if your turbo would meet the 2.6 rules out this way or not.

I just wish we had more 1st gen trucks gas and particularly diesel over in my area. They are very far and few between. I understand the fuel cost just to make a hook at a national event. Con Andrew into towing your truck out here! If you start thinking about it, check to see if hood stacks are allowed in 2.6.

I believe hood stacks are but 2.6 went to a protrusion rule around here.

It's a little late to post this but....

protrusion=3.0 charger under a 2.6 cover (and thats putting it mildly), stupid rule that is ruining the class so vendors can make lots of money

I run a box stock 2.6 turbo so I'm legal anywhere

Ive seen 100% stock 2.6 chargers fail tech around here because of the protrusion rule. It's what's killing it I agree.
