If it's just a toy and you don't haul with it I'd go bigger then a 62. I'd go for a 66 and a nice cam to help spool

A 66 wont black out the sun bombin around town ? Is the 62 too small ? Any better turbo options maybe cheaper or better spooling / power ?

It's going to stay hot with that small turbo and big sticks just ask Richie O.

to be competitve around here most use a Columbus Hx60 or a Garrett based Precision. Those are both at least $3500 chargers.

If I were you, I would do a search for Borg-Warner S366. Reasonable price, decent manners without a trailer, makes plenty of power for a "toy."

for a good street turbo that makes good power to pull with check out engineered diesels 63mm. it supports up to like 650hp spools faster then a 62 and flows for then a 64mm. They are local to my shop so we have been working with them selling there turbos. that one is a dang good turbo for the price. they are around 13-1500.

I ran a 62 x 71mm S300 and made 488hp and over 1200ft-lb. It cleaned up my 12mm pump. For a 12mm ve I would never run anything bigger.
