I have a boost valve at home can you elaborate a little more how you hooked it up maybe some pics? And I'm also gonna check for leaks when I get home.

well i have a valet swicth mechanical needle valve inside the cab that iuse to turn off the afc boost while towing I did away with the boost tube that runs from the cyl. head to the afc & used push lok fittings with 1/4" plastic line then i plumed the boost valve inline to the afc you can set the valve with air pressure and a gauge then dial it to where you want plus tune the star wheel hope this helps sorry no pics if i remeber i regulated 40 psi to the boost valve and set it to 20psi out you will have to play with it a little to get what you want or what feels good

Hey where are you at in MO Iam here right now in a campground by fulton In fact I just took my radiator to colombia city and had them clean it out and repair a few small holes It ran a little warm pulling my trailer here from MI

No problem i can figure it out. Did you put the boost valve on the head or the afc? And im in the springfield area bout 30 minutes from there. Hopefully they will get you lined out.

I ran one line into the cab from the head to the valet switch the other line from cab to boost valve then to afc Hope this helps Yeh I got it back this afternoon will be installed in the morning

Ok im not gonna run a valet switch so I can just run my boost valve off the head into some 1/4 line then to the afc right ?

It's a snow performance and its the smaller nozzle I need to upgrade to a dual setup .

Ok guys got my spacer put can't tell huge difference I'm at about 1/8 timing. I checked my Ksb wire and I can't tell that it ever gets power to it could this be a bad temp switch ?

you can chech your temp switch for continuity by pulling the connector off it and putting a meter on the pins. The switch should be closed when the truck is cold and than it should open once the truck warms up, I think i read @ 120deg it open, but either way closed cold and open when the truck is up to operating temp. I stripped the wires on the connector and ran a toggle switch in parallel with the temp switch the ksb works normal or I can turn it on when i want while the truck is hot. You can hear more rattle when the switch is on, but my butt dyno cant tell the diff, egts are no cooler and I loose 5lbs of boost with it on.
1993 club cab 2wd, auto,s300,5x14s,BHAF,powertrax,denny t, Carter 100gph,specrite tc, built 518,tampered pump,and a new headliner.

Thanks Dan I wired mine up and at wot I gained 3 psi and can tell a big difference when its on.
