Are you talking about a filter for the stock location or a seperate unit entirely?

I was just asking as some people bypass the stock filter and use a seperate unit as the stock can be resrictive at high flows.

There have been part numbers posted for a larger filter that goes in the stock location but when I tried last year I had no luck finding any. So i went with a seperate housing and a large filter/water seperator thats cheap at the local truck shop.

I'm not 100% sure, but i don't think the raptor bypasses the stock filter. I just got the Fleetguard filter from Scheid. FS1232 or FS1253 is the Fleetguard PN

Those are bigger filters than Cummins intended for you to use on a 5.9L, but they won't hurt anything. I just got the stock one because it's cheaper

hey-Hey!!!,
Just saw some discussion on the FS1221. Longer filter but it does away with the water sensor. Not sure I am comfortable with that though. Seems to have a 22 micron rating v. 25 for the stocker.
cheers,
Douglas
