Take the pins out before mounting the turbo! The compressor housing has a large snap ring which is a bugger to install/remove while mountied on the truck. There are pins betweeen the comp. housing and centre body as well as the centre body and exh. housing. Both sides need to be removed so the centre body can be rotated to allow the oil inlet/outlet to be vertical.
One other thing is the manifold studs need to be backed out to be long enough so the nuts have enough thread to grab. The top two studs on the turbo housing need to be removed and the holes opened up so the existing manifold studs can be used.
Seems complicated but its not once you have it and can test mount it.
