I vote that a rusty fueling or some such issue is causing it to suck a slight amount of air between the fuel and the lift pump
1990 W350 5spd. IC'd front end, HX52 on ported 3 piece, full 4" pipe, not as much power as I want but more than enough to break something

"generally" air enters the system pre lift pump (suction side).

Double check the inlet of the piston lift pump to make sure it isn't loose by chance or sucking air, same goes with any of the fuel line connectors.

Does anyone happen to know the part # for the return tee orings?
1993 W350 LE ext. cab dually, tuned pump, 60mm HX35, NV4500, 4" straight tbe, 366, 1/8" bump, THD fuel pin & lppp, DPS manifold, DFI 5x12's, 3" tubes, PS IC, D80 rear, 3.54's, 4th gen Alcoas.
