. Back near the beginning of the the year I had full throttle run away when I was going down the freeway....well not real run away because i could turn the engine off with the ignition switch, but every time I turned the switch back on it would take off full speed. The part I marked is a pin of some sort. It is actually a little longer than twice the mark I made (look to the right of the mark). My pump is a 205. so not under safety recall if I read correctly. The fulcrum seem to still be in there pretty good so I don't think it is the pin from it, any guess what part this pin is/where it came from?
You are describing a fulcrum lever breakage (from what happened and how it acts)
205 pumps (some of them) fall under the wararanty

Thanks for the answer. I took the pump apart a little more and I think it is the Piston distributor return springs(Don't know if that is the correct term) . Part of spring? maybe? This is not my pump but you can see the parts better. Green is the spring and red is the part that is on an angle. I thought it was suppose to stay straight. (return springs keeps it that way?). a
